⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nora’s life is books, but she wishes she was the heroine that got the guy. Which is why her sister Libby plans a trip to a small-town in hopes of convincing her to become the heroine in her own story. But Nora keeps bumping into Charlie, a bookish brooding editor from back in the city.
“𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲?”
This book is about the other woman. The woman that didn’t get the guy. The woman that got left behind for the small town girl that helps her family keep their struggling flower farm from being bulldozed over by the huge real-estate corp. Who is this woman? Where does her story go from here? Well, this woman is Nora, our main character!
“𝐒𝐨 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 ‘𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧,’ 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈’𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐧.”
I LOVE small town romances! I grew up in a small-town but it wasn’t like it is in the books. I’ve always wished I’d live in a Hallmark like small-town, which is why I love these types of books! Henry really painted the picture of what Sunshine Falls was like, it was like I was really there. It wasn’t as nice as the girls excepted it would be but they still found a way to fall in love with this little town.
“𝐀 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞, 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟.”
Nora is obsessed with her work, but she feels the need to after the way she grew up. But even on vacation she can’t give Libby the time she promised she’d give her. Libby, is a hilarious sister! She’s also married and almost ready to pop with baby number three. And of course Charlie, definitely the grump in this story. But you’ll warm up to him in the end, I promise!
“𝐈’𝐦 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐚. 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐲 𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡.”
I loved how the ending went, it seemed real. It’s how Nora’s story was supposed to end. I highly recommend this book! This is an anytime real if you want a cute small-town romance with a hilarious journey and a happy ending! 📚❤
