⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is the last Christmas Mae will be at her favorite place in the world, the cabin. Mae throws out a plea to the universe: Show me what will make me happy. With one hilarious disaster after another, Mae must figure out how to break free of the strange time loop and finally get her true love under the mistletoe.
“𝐈 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞, 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲: 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲?”
I loved this book! Such a cute cozy holiday romance novel. And it’s hysterical. It's laugh-out-loud funny. The situations that Mae finds herself in are hilariously relatable, and the novel is packed with brilliantly witty and amusing dialogue.
“𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐞’𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐲.”
The way the cabin was described, and how everyone came together to celebrate and spend time together was magic. I’d love to have that. The traditions, the connections, the love, and the tender moments, and especially the cabin!
“𝐈 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦.”
The characters were wonderful, all of them. Benny was definitely my favorite, I loved his connection with Mae and he was hilarious. The tender love and support, the loyalty, history and lifelong connections, the fun and laughter felt so wonderfully real. You’ll want to be a part of it!
“𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐨 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐬𝐬?”
The one thing I didn’t love was Andrew, I don’t know…I just didn’t love him as the main heart throb, and what he got upset over was dumb in my opinion. Also I’ve noticed quite a few books I’ve read this year have this in common, lifelong family friends, brothers and vacation homes. It’s getting old.
🎅🏻🎄⛄️💗
