⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“𝐈𝐟 𝐰𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐬, 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤-𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐲.”
Fallon meets Ben the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration for Ben’s novel. They continue to meet on the same date every year. Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?
“𝐈𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐢𝐦. 𝐈𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩.”
I loved this book so much. The plot of this was different from anything I’ve read and so unique. The commitment of meeting up once a year, is incredible. And because of that, this was such a fast paced read and kept you wanting to know what’s next. There were so many crazy plot twists, my emotions were going crazy!
“𝐈’𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐞𝐫. 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐞𝐫. 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.”
Fallon was such a strong person, yet after suffering such a horrific event she was left stuck inside her shell, unable to truly be herself any longer. She also didn't have the support system she so needed while going through this time in her life.
Ben was difficult to understand for most of the story. He was definitely hiding things, but not knowing what they were kept me at arm's length. I loved how powerful he felt about Fallon, and how he wasn't afraid to show his interest in her from the start.
“𝐈𝐟 𝐬𝐡𝐞’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐈 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐞𝐫. 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.”
Their story was impossible not to love. Their relationship from the start was filled with witty banter, emotions, and the realness we all hope for in romance stories. Neither character was perfect, both holding back on sharing their secrets with the other. But the chemistry and bond between the two was undeniable! Even after a year without seeing each other, the November 9 meetups were so powerful and filled with emotion, humor and love.
