One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Summary: When Katy’s mother dies, she is crushed, she wasn’t just her mom but her best friend. To make matters worse, their planned mother-daughter trip of a lifetime looms: to Positano, the magical town where Carol spent the summer right before she met Katy’s father. So now Katy has to go alone. But as soon as she steps foot on the Amalfi Coast, Katy begins to feel her mother’s spirit, and feels herself coming back to life. And then Carol appears—in the flesh, healthy, sun-tanned, and thirty years old. Katy doesn’t understand what is happening, or how—all she can focus on is that she has somehow, impossibly, gotten her mother back.

Review: I loved this book! An amazing mother-daughter book! How cool would it be to be able to talk to your mother back when she was your age? Not as your mother but as the young woman before you were born. That is exactly what Katy gets to do. She’s always thought of her mother a certain way but she gets to see an entirely different side of her. This is a must read!
